FINANCE MANAGER/ CORPORATE SECRETARY
Reporting to Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
To manage the integrity and provision of business financial, management and regulatory information to meet Executive management, corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements and maintain financial control
Accurate and timely preparation of all standard financial and management accounting information, statutory reports and the provision of financial information and advice. Tax management of the investment portfolio in accordance with company guidelines.
Key role is in design of the compliance arrangements and the review of compliance risks and processes. These responsibilities also include promoting the compliance culture within QBE Pool and to its intermediaries. Implementation of requirements is the responsibility of the relevant Business Unit Managers.
Organising the planning, budgeting and reporting of financial transactions and information and/or supervising the coordination of budgeting processes and preparing various management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Responsible for ensuring that company complies with standard financial and legal practice and maintains standards of good corporate governance referring to OJK.
As a point of communication between the board of directors and all company shareholders.
Reporting in a timely and accurate manner on company procedures and developments.
The successful applicant is expected to have:
Minimum S1 Degree in Finance / Accounting
At least 10 years’ experience in insurance industry with some management exposure
Previous corporate secretary experience will be beneficial
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Leadership abilities and strong business acumen
Proficient in English is a must
